For many years falling into the 'long-time listener, first time caller' category, I took the threat, put up or shut up seriously. The latter never being in my nature, I started to write these stories down.
The exercise of writing has not been gentle for me. It has been rough and clumsy. At work I always prided myself in being organized. The business case needed to be complete, the budgets validated and the contracts signed. If there is any creativity here, it does not come from the same place.
It was far more enjoyable and rewarding than I ever expected.
